Chicken Fried Steak
Your chicken fried steak is out of this world. Small one is enough for taking some home and add your onion rings WOW what a meal.

Our go to item. My wife and I order this every time and take half of it home to eat the next day. Have never been disappointed! We try to make a trip a least once a month. We should try other items but is hard when your steaks are so great!

Dinner Steak
What a wonderfully prepared steak with salad bar and a baked❤️with dinner rolls! Don't miss out! My first time to try the Lowake Steak House was in 1971 on my high school senior trip!!😉 It has been really good for a very very long time!❤️
Beef Tenderloin
The beef tenderloin is one of the best steak every, We live in the DFW area but make a least 3-4 trips annually to Lowake, My wife has been going to Lowake's since she was a little girl. We have taken family from New York to Lowake's and we all agree the best steaks ever. We have had the burger, ribeye and my favor the tenderloin. All of them are excellent. Living in the DFW area we have a number of high end steakhouses. None of them can compare to Lowake's. If you want the best steak in Texas than Lowake's is the place. Thanks to the owners for keeping Lowake's the best. Looking forward to our next visit.
Shrimp
I really enjoyed the grilled shrimp. It was fresh, tender, and had a great smoky flavor from the grill. The seasoning was balanced perfectly without overpowering the shrimp. One of the best dishes I've had in a while!
Bone In Ribeye
Their food and service are ALWAYS on point! We drive out of our way to eat there. We finally got smart and share the steak…it's HUGE. The only small, and very small suggestion is for them to add more bananas and Nilla wafers to the banana pudding. It's still fair We plan to go back there in a couple of weeks. This place is worth the drive.

Cooked to perfection......just the the you order it. Very flavorful too. Definitely worth the drive. Service was great as well.
Filet Mignon
I drove down for a mid afternoon meal. As you would expect Lowake wasn't full.. The server was prompt and extremely nice. I ordered a small order of onion rings. If they aren't the best I ever had it doesn't take long to call the roll. My filet was great. They hit the temperature exactly and my Coors Banquet was cold just as it always is at the Lowake Steakhouse. I've been eating there 65 years and I'll stop when I go on to my reward.
